Training is key to the success of the Berkshire-based zappas group. A strong focus on on-going training and education has created a first class system that has resulted in the growth and maintenance of a highly skilled team.

Internal training, backed where necessary by external educational courses, has helped to attract school-leavers and has resulted in low recruitment needs, as the qualified staffing level is constant and successful training has resulted in opportunity and growth within the zappas system.

We believe that the zappas Training Programme is superior because it has been a primary consideration since the outset of the business. Over the years, zappas have always ensured that team training is a key part of salon success. From the outset, our small team and loyal clientele set out the blueprint for a success story.

Quality training is the backbone of the organisation and for every team member at zappas, from trainees to receptionists, to part-time staff and stylists at every level of the company; the training and development principles are rigorously adhered to.

Zappas training policy although brief encompasses what we are passionate about. All individuals are nurtured to their full potential whilst remaining true to our vision and mission statements.

Every team member receives both in-house and external training exposure.

Academy Competition Winners

This year the summer competition was a resounding success, with all of our assistants proving a real talent. The competition theme was to produce a model and presentation on a film of their choice.

We had the Lion King, Pearl Harbour and even the Secret Garden. Huge amounts of effort was put in by our dedicated assistants, making all of our training team very proud.
