Wokingham Paint Jam

Street artists helped brighten up Elms Road in Wokingham and raise funds for the Ollie Young Foundation during Wokingham Paint Jam.

Renowned street artist Pistol was among the artists taking part in the event – part of the Wokingham Festival – which produced these stunning pieces of artwork.

Watched by members of the public, the artists pushed their creativity to the max over a weekend. Zappas joined in by helping to part sponsor the event and locals were encouraged to make a donation and to sign ‘Ollie’s Wall’ for a small donation to the foundation.  The paintings were then auctioned to further boost funds.

The Ollie Young Foundation is a UK registered charity which funds targeted paediatric brain tumour research and support.

It was launched in memory of the brave little boy who lost his fight against an incurable brain tumour one day before his sixth birthday and only twelve weeks after first displaying symptoms. There was no available treatment for Ollie, no cure and no hope.

Our ultimate aim is to find a cure or prevention from this awful disease that affects so many children and families.
